ECC is seeking candidates for an HR Representative I. The Human Resources Representative will support our ACI LA Fires project. The position will work on-site at our Pasadena or Pacific Palisades office location(s). The HR Representative is responsible for a wide variety of professional level human resources activities in functions such as onboarding, learning and development, and general human resources administration. The ideal candidate will thrive in fast-paced environment with a variety of duties. The position duration is anticipated to be 10 months. In this position you will:
- Respond with a sense of urgency to employee and manager inquiries, answering questions accurately and resolving problems thoroughly.
- Responsible for the successful onboarding of new employees which includes the following: working with the hiring manager and IT to ensure the timely arrival of required productivity tools; presenting an overview of ECC's mission, vision, values, history, benefits, and timecard policies and practices; ensuring new hires receive an IT orientation and understand ECCONET navigation, including but not limited to timecard set-up, travel authorization & invoice submittal, and training matrix compliance certifications.
- Lead out-processing of employees, collaborating with appropriate departments to ensure that tasks are completed in accordance with Company practices.
- Collect and distribute entrance and exit surveys
- Assist managers and employees in completing required paperwork including benefits forms, I-9 paperwork, training and assisting other HR staff as needed.
- Ensures that all ECC offices at the employee's field location have up to date compliance posters.
- Interpret Employee Handbook policies, providing counseling to managers and employees regarding its content
- In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position.
Proficiency Requirements
- Must be comfortable working in high volume, fast paced environment
- Solid experience in effectively dealing with multiple levels of staff
- Ability to multi-task, handle high workload and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to prioritize the handling of issues and assignments
- Must be self-motivated and highly organize
- Intermediate to expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field, and 1 to 3 years working in a Human Resources or comparable function.
ECC targeted salary range for US locations average is $47,569 to $53,730 annually. Additional compensation for hours worked available.
Actual salary offered may be affected by education, training, certifications, experience, skills, level of responsibility, and location.
