Description Donor Engagement/Communications Program Manager - Hybrid This position is responsible for executing strategic communications for Providence Foundations of Oregon that support donor retention, inspire increased giving, and foster long-term relationships with local foundations. The Program Manager develops donor-centered communications that highlight Providence's regional and local philanthropic opportunities, donor impact, local initiatives, and other key messages for external audiences. Additionally, this role contributes to the comprehensive donor engagement strategy, including individualized stewardship plans for high-level prospects and donors, impact reporting, and engagement activities. Success in this role requires exceptional project management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders. The Program Manager is a seasoned communicator and storyteller with outstanding writing skills and expertise in managing print media, electronic communications, social media, and multi-channel campaign development. Under the leadership of the Oregon director of donor engagement, this role helps execute communications strategies that both inspire philanthropic support and showcase the transformative impact of donor contributions on the health and well-being of the communities we serve. The Program Manager also plays a key role in maintaining a consistent brand identity for Providence foundations while allowing for localized messaging. This position collaborates closely with the creative team, philanthropy gift officers, hospital leaders, program clinicians, public relations and communications colleagues, and other internal partners. The role offers a hybrid work environment, with both remote and on-site work at various Portland-area locations. Philanthropy is an essential part of the Providence Mission.
