The role of the Shipping and receiving coordinator is to verify and correct discrepancies on finished good batch tickets from Quality Control. Generates all shipping documents, including all necessary papers for International shipments, FedEx, and UPS. Knows and willingly practices all safety rules and procedures and participates in the plant safety program including the wearing of appropriate safety equipment. (PPE)

Gap Shift - Monday - Thursday 10:00am-8:30pm

Job duties include contact with other employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to proprietary information, raw materials, finished merchandise, and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised.   • Verifies and corrects discrepancies on finished good batch tickets from Quality Control
  • Responsible for moving trailers of both finished goods and raw materials.
  • Responsible for accurate paperwork for outbound finished goods to off-site warehouse.
  • Responsible for accurate paperwork for inbound raw materials and/or packaging materials.
  • Responsible for correct location storage of incoming finished goods and raw materials.
  • Generates all shipping documents, including all necessary papers for International shipments, FedEx, and UPS.
  • Knows and willingly practices all safety rules and procedures and participates in the plant safety program including the wearing of appropriate safety equipment. (PPE)
  • Keep shipping office areas and warehouse neat and orderly.
  • Assists in other departments as needed.
  • Contributes to achievement of plant safety and housekeeping goals.
  • Ensuring smooth flow of incoming and outgoing raw materials and finished goods.
  • Maintaining accurate shipping/receiving documentation in hard copy files as well as electronically.
  • Maintaining ISO 9001/2000 certification
  • Accurate finished goods counts
  • Participation towards completion of other related tasks and duties as directed or needed
  • Contributes to annual physical inventory as directed or necessary.
  • Responsible for the spotter equipment and contacting maintenance for necessary repairs.
  • Responsible for maintaining the site yards, lighting, guard rails, etc. by notifying proper department/maintenance.


Minimum Requirements:



  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must have one (1) year experience working in a manufacturing or distribution facility



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Have at least three (3) years experience working in shipping and/or receiving
  • Have at least an associate's degree or higher
  • Have at least two (2) years experience of driving a tractor trailer
