- Candidate must exhibit qualities that will further the fraternal movement, a care for student success, patience, determination, ability to work independently, dedication, trustworthiness, interest in achieving excellence, flexibility, and professionalism.
- Greek experience in a national organization, desire to put theory into practice, experience with a rapidly growing fraternity and sorority community, experience at a mid-sized, public institution.

Duties and Responsibilities |
- The summer intern for the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life (OFSL) will work directly with the Director, Associate Director, and Assistant Director(s) to develop their professional skills as a student affairs practitioner.
- The intern will present to over 3,500 incoming students and their families about the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life during new student orientation, work with local businesses and campus partners to coordinate the senior transition program -TELOS, develop new member curriculum alongside the Assistant Director, implement various educational resources and opportunities for the Greek community, participate in an office-wide guided reading, and other duties as assigned.
- The role can be adjusted to the specific interest of the intern and duties, responsibilities, and projects may be altered to fit the specific individual in the role. This intern will act as a fifth professional staff member in the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life and will be treated as a professional throughout their internship at UNC Charlotte.
