Medical Assistant - Dermatology Broad Creek, VA Pay From: $17 per hour MUST: Experienced Medical Assistant - Dermatology 1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a busy medical practice 1+ years of experience working in dermatology Excellent interpersonal skills; friendly and engaging self-starter that works well in high pressure situations Ability to solve problems in a strong, confident manner Ability to travel to other locations if needed Experience with electronic medical record systems Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette Exceptional verbal and written communication skills CCMA Certification (Preferred) DUTIES: Greet patients and accompany them to the examination room Triage patients to include taking vitals, documenting medical history information, medication list, allergies and reason for appointment Making and taking calls to and from patients to answer questions, addressing concerns, communicating laboratory results, etc. Prepare rooms and trays Assist the physician with treatment and procedures Provide patients with any required information such as post procedure and wound care instructions Scribing Cleaning and restocking examination rooms Other duties as assigned Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
