Position Overview: Join our dedicated team where we provide meals to our students, resident’s and staff. We are currently seeking a part\time Dietary Assistant who is enthusiastic about food service and wants to make a difference in the lives of others and to work as part of a total team and have fundamental warmth and love for children. Key Responsibilities: This position is responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to menus provided by the Food Service Supervisor. Maintains cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas. Adheres to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times. Assists with other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Must have a general working knowledge of most food service preparation, equipment and skills. Ability to communicate effectively and work well with a diverse group of people. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, pass a health screening and a background investigation. Cedar Ridge is a non-denominational, non-profit Christian outreach organization.
