Nephrologist

Job Responsibilities:

* Provide comprehensive patient care for the diagnosis and treatment of kidney-related conditions;
* Responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with diseases and disorders of the kidney, including chronic kidney disease, kidney failure, nephrotic syndrome, and a wide range of renal conditions;
* Perform various diagnostic tests, including blood tests, urine tests, imaging studies, and kidney biopsies, interpret the results, and prescribe appropriate interventions, therapies, medications, and other treatment modalities;
* Establish treatment and preventative health plans for patients and refer patients with serious ailments to outside specialists, as appropriate.

Qualifications:

* M.D., or equivalent;
* Completion of residency in Internal Medicine;
* Completion of fellowship in Nephrology;
* Must be board certified in Internal Medicine;
* Must be board certified or board eligible in Nephrology;
* Must have valid unrestricted NY medical license or eligibility.
