Corrections Officer

The City of Middletown is actively seeking applications for the role of Corrections Officer. An open competitive examination will be conducted to assess potentials for this position.

As a Corrections Officer, your responsibilities will include ensuring the safety and welfare of individuals who are incarcerated in the City Jail. The role involves rotating through three distinct shifts, allowing for a diverse working environment and interaction with various individuals.

Starting salary: $46,396 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the starting salary does not encompass shift differentials, overtime compensation, or a clothing allowance.

Selected candidates will undergo a thorough selection process, which includes an interview, background investigation, polygraph testing, and a psychological evaluation.
