Almost all Americans love cars. We name them. We take pictures of them. And even if we don't love them, we are affected by them every day. The Detroit Free Press is looking for a talented journalist to cover the experience of buying, owning and making the most of an automobile. This car culture reporter will produce content that centers on consumers and focuses on buying and operating advice, technological advances, auto trends and how people feel about their vehicles. We seek an innovative reporter with at least two years of demonstrated enterprise experience, who has the ability to create a fresh approach to writing about cars and the people who feel passionately about them. The car culture reporter will help guide readers across the USA Today Network through the car purchasing journey, answering the most pressing questions and highlighting lessons learned.
