Oneonta City School District is accepting applications for Substitute Nurse Temporary, hourly assignment to begin ASAP providing nursing support during transportation of a student to school Monday - Friday, 5: 00 AM - 7: 40 AM and from school 2: 35 PM - 5: 30 PM. $35.00/hour.We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Substitute School Nurse to provide temporary healthcare services to students and staff in the absence of the regular school nurse. The role involves assessing and managing minor injuries and illnesses, administering prescribed medications, and responding to medical emergencies in a timely and professional manner.The Substitute School Nurse will also maintain accurate health records, ensure compliance with state and school health policies, and promote a safe and healthy environment. Effective communication with students, parents, and staff is essential, as is maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.Qualified candidates must hold a valid nursing license (RN or LPN), have current CPR/First Aid certification, and preferably possess experience in pediatrics or school nursing.
