The Position
2025 Summer Intern - Regenerative Medicine
Department Summary The Regenerative Medicine Department at Genentech seeks to develop therapeutics for the restoration and rejuvenation of tissues and organs. Our work is highly collaborative with other departments in Research and Early Development, and draws on multiple modalities to address pressing patient needs. The Lamba lab is seeking an intern to join our retinal cell therapy efforts for the summer of 2025. The Opportunity As an Intern, you will be responsible for designing, performing, and analyzing experiments in support of retinal cell therapies with the help of your manager. You will complete experiments independently as appropriate, read primary literature relevant to your work, attend relevant meetings and seminars, prepare a poster, and present your findings in the form of a final presentation to the department. Who You Are Required Education - Must have attained a Bachelor's Degree no more than 2 years ago. Required Majors Biology, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related fields. Preferred Qualifications

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $31.00-$33.00 hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
