The Position
2025 Summer Internship - High Content Genetic Perturbation Screens Department Summary This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in the field of high content genetic perturbation screen. You will be involved in analyzing large-scale genetic perturbation maps to compare cellular states and map drug responses across various systems. This project aims to enhance our understanding of how specific genetic perturbations influence cellular states, both in normal and cancer settings. This internship position is located in South San Francisco, on-site. The Opportunity - Analyze and interpret transcriptomic data at both single-cell and bulk levels. Program Highlights
Who You Are (Required) Required Education: You meet one of the following criteria: - Must be pursuing a PhD (enrolled student). Required Majors: Background in biology, genetics, bioinformatics, biostatistics, or a related field. Required Skills:Experience in transcriptomics, proficiency in python and R (python preferred), strong stats background Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications
Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. The expected salary for this position based on the primary location of California is $50 hour.Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
