Rosebud Restaurants, a Chicago staple for nearly 50 years, is seeking line cooks to join the Rosebud culinary team at our Boca Raton location! The ideal candidate will have experience in food safety, preparation and presentation, and extensive BOH knowledge. Candidates should be able to perform calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment, be an efficient multi-tasker, maintain a positive attitude and friendly demeanor, and work diligently with our team to ensure guest expectations are always exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes following the restaurant's recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensure that all food items are prepared and served in a timely manner to meet guests' expectations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain high-quality food standards and consistency.
- Handle food safely and adhere to all sanitation and food safety guidelines.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients before each shift.
- Assist in developing new menu items and daily specials, incorporating creativity and culinary expertise.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify the kitchen manager of any shortages or expiring ingredients.
- Clean and maintain workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas to meet hygiene standards.
- Follow proper cooking techniques and maintain knowledge of various cooking methods and cuisines.
- Ensure food presentation is visually appealing and meets the restaurant's aesthetic standards.
- Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude while working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
- Aid in training and mentoring new kitchen staff members, fostering a supportive team environment.
- Adapt to changing menu requirements and work efficiently during busy peak hours.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new cooking techniques to continuously improve culinary skills.
- Handle special dietary requests and accommodate guest preferences while ensuring high-quality food preparation.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a line cook or relevant culinary experience.
- A passion for food and a keen interest in culinary arts.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
