The Division of Plastic Surgery, Department of Surgery at the University of Washington This position will be primarily based at Harborview Medical Center (HMC). Clinical responsibilities will include the broad spectrum of acute burn surgery, burn reconstructive surgery and plastic reconstructive surgery including extremity reconstruction. This position will work collaboratively with the HMC burn and plastic and reconstructive surgeons. In addition to clinical practice, the position will participate in the education of surgical residents and medical students. The position will be expected to develop an area of scholarly expertise, as expected of every faculty member, in consultation with the Division and Section Chiefs. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service. Harborview Medical Center is a nationally recognized Level 1 trauma burn center offering outstanding trauma, acute burn, and reconstructive care. At the rank of Assistant Professor (WOT), the base salary range for this position will be: $29,167- $33,334 per month ($350,004 - $400,008 annually). At the rank of Associate Professor (WOT), the base salary range for this position will be: $35,834 - $39,584 per month ($430,008 - $475,008 annually). Base salaries at all ranks will be commensurate with candidate experience and qualifications. This range is inclusive of base salary provided through the UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan, in addition to base salary provided by the University. Other compensation associated with this position may include variable incentive through UWP. Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in University benefit determinations and calculations. Compensation provided by UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan may provide eligibility for separate benefits offered by that organization.
