Pharmacy Technician- Per Diem

As a per diem, nonexempt
CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Technicianat CenterPointe Hospital in St. Charles, Missouri,you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; and procuring drugs. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.

Schedule:This per diem, nonexempt position will work 4-8 hours/week, every Saturday from 8:30am-12:30pm and weekdays, when possible, to cover for PTO.

About the Facility: CenterPointe Hospitalis a Joint Commission accredited 150-bed premier psychiatric hospital with an average daily census of 125 patients. This facility provides inpatient and outpatientbehavioral, mental health, and addiction services for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacy:The pharmacy is open Monday-Friday from 8:30am - 9:00pm and Saturday/Sunday from 8:30am - 2:30pm.The Pharmacy utilizes Medhost (HMS) and MedSelect dispensing cabinets.

Qualifications:



  • High School diploma or GED
  • Current Missouri Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
  • National certification (PTCB or CPhT) preferred
  • At least 1 year ofrecent inpatient hospital or retail pharmacy technician experience
  • Proficient computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other members of hospital and pharmacy staff


Hospital Requirements (may be required):



  • (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof ofnegativeTB skin test within thelast 12 months
  • (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer provingimmunity
  • Varicella -(2)documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
  • HepB3 Series(or declination)
  • (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
  • COVID Vaccine-Full(required)
