The Times of Northwest Indiana, a division on Lee Enterprises, with a 40,000+ circulation daily newspaper located 30 miles from the downtown Chicago area, is looking for an experienced offset press operator. Primary responsibilities will include daily print operations on GOSS press equipment or Magnum commercial press, with a focus on minimizing waste while maximizing speed and quality. Work hours will include afternoons, nights, weekends, and holiday shifts. Requirements include a high school education and computer skills. A candidate must have good eyesight including proper color vision. The successful applicant should be mechanically inclined and detail oriented, with prior lithographic experience on a GOSS offset press or Magnum commercial press. Why Join Us?
