The College of Performance, Visualization & Fine Arts at Texas A&M University invites applications for one (1) tenure-track assistant professor or an associate professor with tenure review upon hire, depending on qualifications, in guitar interarts performance, with a full-time, nine-month (per year) academic appointment beginning in fall 2025. Now building a powerhouse for artistic innovation, the new college brings music together with dance, performance studies, theater, and visual arts, as well as creative computing and game design. To serve the new BFA in Music Performance, the colleges Dance, Music, and Theater Performance Section seeks an individual with: expertise in guitar interarts performance Expectations develop and maintain competitive research activities Qualifications Candidates applying at the rank of assistant professor must demonstrate: Candidates applying at the rank of associate professor with tenure review upon hire must demonstrate: Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate experience in interdisciplinary collaboration for artistic performance.
