Staff Accountant (Virtual)

Staff Accountant

This job will be involved in day-to-day and month-end accounting processes including commission calculations. This position will assist operations management as necessary. The candidate that fills this position will be hands-on with a strong working knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial practices.

Position Responsibilities

• Calculate commission payouts monthly.
• Calculate quarterly commissions.
• Calculate annual or quarterly commission true ups.
• Ensure all sales reps have signed commissions plans.
• Assist with some journal entries.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests.
• Prepare account reconciliations.
• This position will be part of the General Operations Accounting Team reporting to the Senior Manager-General Operations Accounting Team.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel including Pivot Tables).
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well within a team under tight deadlines and changing directives.
• No travel required.
• This is a remote position.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Two years general ledger or equivalent accounting experience.

Pay: $50,000-$55,000
