Visual journalist/Milwaukee Journal Sentinel The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel , an award-winning news organization in Wisconsin and part of the We want someone who understands the powerful role visuals storytelling plays in reaching new audiences and who is committed to high-quality journalism at every level. As we work to expand our video offerings, we are looking especially for someone skilled in and comfortable with producing video content using a variety of approaches (packages to support stories, live coverage, etc.) and fluent in social media platforms, such as Tik Tok, YouTube and Instagram. The successful candidate will have an envelope-pushing attitude and understand how to tell a story visually that resonates on these platforms- as well as being able to tackle still images, often on the same assignment. Our visual journalists must be able to move seamlessly between high school and professional sports, daily local news and deep investigations, community festivals and national entertainment events. The successful candidate must have the ability to collaborate with reporters and editors to produce compelling storytelling about the people and places of Wisconsin. The candidate will collaborate with journalists at the Journal Sentinel, USA Today Network-Wisconsin and USA Today Network Photo and Video Team on special projects, tentpole coverage and breaking news.
