The Senior Director of Development, Interdisciplinary Initiatives, is a leader on the Development team in the Office of University Advancement at William & Mary. The Senior Director is responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of donors and building philanthropic strategies for the donors and prospects in support of priorities for interdisciplinary initiatives that originate from within the provost's office at William & Mary.
The Senior Director reports to the Assistant Vice President for Schools & Academic Initiatives and works closely with internal partners in the Office of University Advancement, including other school and unit development professionals, regional gift officers, colleagues on the marketing, communications, events, stewardship, alumni engagement, and annual giving teams, as well as staff and faculty partners on campus.
The Senior Director will lead strategies and initiatives for interdisciplinary programming that originate from within the provost's office, including programming in support of the Institute for Integrative Conservation ( The Senior Director will help foster a culture of belonging that embraces all people and perspectives. This is a hybrid position based in Williamsburg, VA, that offers a flexible work environment.
