October 14, 2024 Senior Equipment Operator Traffic Operations Signal Construction Applications are now being accepted for the position of Senior Equipment Operator on the Signal Construction crew, Traffic Operations division. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a starting wageis $25.10 -$28.90 per hour, DOQ.ACHD offers an excellent benefit package with medical, vision and dental insurance, paidmaternity/paternity leave, paid vacation and holidays, day care assistance, 401K match and membership inthe Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho (PERSI).Primary Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Crew Chief and Leadworker, the primary duties of this position are toassist in the installation and modifications associated with traffic signal construction & installation. The Sr. Equipment Operator will be assigned between crews depending on the maintenance needsof the District. Subject to on call duty 24 hour for a 7 day week on a rotating schedule. Help in the training, safety, and daily tasks of the crew.Qualifications: A current Class A CDL license is required, with the ability to obtain a tanker endorsement. The Sr. Equipment Operator on the Signal Construction crew must certify on three (3) differentpieces of equipment that are used to build and maintain traffic signals, such as: backhoe, crane,bucket truck. Knowledge of electrical wiring and participation in the state electrician apprentice program is highlydesirable. Any combination of education, training, or experience, which provides the required knowledge,skills, and abilities, may be acceptable.A completed application is required and must be submitted to Human Resources by 4: 30pm, October 28,2024.
