Gundersen Health System is seeking an OB/GYN physician to provide care at our Tomah clinic. The Tomah clinic is part of our regional healthcare system providing care close to home for our patients.

This position is supported by a wide range of resources, advanced technology, and a collaborative environment that will empower you to deliver exceptional care. Below are just a few of the features of our practice and hospital that help create an enriching work experience:

  • Well established OB practice-Join a team with a dedicated MD and midwife providing high quality care.
  • Balanced schedule-Includes clinic, OR time, and an equitable call schedule.
  • Patient volume-Average of 15-20 patients seen per day in the clinic.
  • Integrated hospital access-OR time and call at Tomah Health, conveniently connected to the clinic.
  • Hospital privileges at Tomah Health-Deliveries performed onsite, with approximately 300 deliveries per year by the department.
  • Advanced technology-Access to the lates in surgical innovation, including the Da Vinci robotic system.
  • Two labor and delivery beds-Designed for a comfortable birthing experience.
  • Postpartum care-Private postpartum rooms
  • Level 1 nursery-Providing care for healthy newborns
  • Emergency support-General Surgeon available for backup and assistance in critical situations.

Must have completed an accredited graduate medical training program and be board certified or eligible within the area of medicine stated. In addition, must have or be able to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations. Medical staff in our system will supervise advanced practice clinicians. Medical staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system. Teaching students, residents, fellows, or clinical staff is cornerstone to our Medical Education philosophy and an expectation of all medical staff.
