Overview NRDC is a non-profit environmental advocacy organization. We use law, science, and the support of 3.1 million members and online activists to protect the planet's wildlife and wild places and to ensure the rights of all people to clean air, clean water, and healthy communities. NRDC is seeking a Strategy, Planning, and Operations Associate to work with the Environment, Equity, and Justice team in our Washington, DC office. Position Summary The Strategy, Planning and Operations (SP&O) Associate for the Environment, Equity, and Justice Center will work closely with the SP&O Lead and others in their department to oversee and/or drive project management for strategy and operations, including initiative and department performance management and metrics, finance, and accounting. To enhance overall function effectiveness, the SP&O Associate will support strategy work, communications, and event planning, and will lead, co-lead or support project plans. Under guidance, the SP&O Associate will implement change and equity-centered process improvements, manage workflows, and create documents, templates, and other materials. Coordinate priority internal initiatives, including contributing to project plans and timelines, tracking key deliverables, managing work plan implementation through workflows such as in Asana, maintaining files on centralized drive, scheduling, and preparing agendas and takeaways for internal meetings.

Internal equity will be reviewed and considered to determine a final offer. For this position, the salary range is $67,300 to $74,200. Our offices are open, and we are operating in a hybrid model.
